Official: Vkusno i tochka plans to launch outlets in Abkhazia in 2023
MOSCOW, Dec 13 (PRIME) -- Fast food chain Vkusno i tochka, the former Russian business of McDonald’s, has bought a franchise in Abkhazia and plans to launch a network there in 2023, Trade Representative of Abkhazia in Russia Oleg Bartsits told PRIME on Tuesday.
"A company franchise was bought in Abkhazia. We expect a fast launch of the service in the Republic of Abkhazia,” Barits said.
“There are no legal or other contraindications… There is this decision, infrastructure changes will begin later. This is not an issue of one month, but I am sure it will happen in 2023,"
The official said that Abkhazia’s legislation and tax policies are liberal enough to host more Russian firms launched after foreign companies quit the market.
